SMART Academy is designed, developed and implemented by Whitespace Business Advisors Pvt Ltd, which is a boutique Consulting firm which specializes in providing solutions in the areas of Business Planning, Organization Development and Sales & Marketing.

It is founded by Mr.Anup Malavia, who has vast industry experience for over 29+ years and has worked with reputed Global organizations namely CMC Ltd, Aptech, Growel Softech, Capgemini, Atos, Fiserv and Tata Technologies. He has been actively involved in setting up and managing businesses from scratch and has vast experience in B2B as well as B2C segments. He has setup and managed various departments under his tenure including Sales and Marketing, Delivery, Shared Service Centers etc... He has hands-on experience in designing and implementing programs and initiatives meant to improve business performance and also instrumental in designing and implementing Marketing, BD and Sales initiatives. Currently he is providing consultation to multiple Indian as well as multinational clients in IT, Engineering, Insurance sectors.

He is an International Coach and also Certified Trainer on various technologies and leadership programs.

He decided to design SMART Academy , as while setting up his own business, he came across multiple challenges around Sales and Marketing. Challenges from Business perspective as well as challenges faced by individuals performing the role.  He came across  many talented individuals who are keen to make a career in Sales and Marketing, but end up taking such roles without adequate education and support. In his observation many take Sales as their first job and try to cope up with the job and acquire skills thru trial and error. This has multiple implications. While business will not grow, it will also create performance issue of the individual, leading him/her to have a limited growth in the job.  

While coming up with idea for this academy, he has spoken to Business Owners with an intent to understand their pain of not getting a well trained Sales and Marketing professionals and at the same time, they are unable to offer salary expected by graduates. SMART Academy intends to address the gap between Job expectations and Individual skills.
